The Finance Assistant will support multiple business operations, ensuring accurate financial processing, maintaining excellent supplier relationships, and contributing to the smooth running of the wider office function.
Key Responsibilities- Processing accounts payable invoices using the company accounting system
- Managing purchase ledger activities and supplier queries
- Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
- Managing utilities administration across the business
- Handling company credit card reconciliations and approvals
- Supporting the wider office team with administrative duties
- Providing ad hoc support across the business when required
- Proven experience within a Finance Assistant or Accounts Payable role
- Strong purchase ledger and accounts payable knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Analytical and proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently within a small team
- Confident communication skills across all levels
- Flexible and willing to support broader office operations
- Own transport essential due to rural location
- AAT qualification or studying towards AAT
