We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse in Letchworth on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on role and is happy to combine forklift driving with general warehouse duties.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift truck while supporting the day‑to‑day warehouse operation. This is a varied position, with a mix of forklift driving and warehouse responsibilities to help keep the operation running efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Booking in goods and checking deliveries
- Replenishing stock locations
- Assisting with goods in and goods out
- Carrying out stock checks where required
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
- Previous forklift driving experience
- Warehouse experience
- Comfortable undertaking both forklift driving and manual warehouse duties
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety
