We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service, technical and attention to detail skills.
This self-starter will be confident in building relationships with a strong sense of their own initiative, logic, curiosity, common sense and above all, customer service.
About the Role Working on the Service Desk, you will play a key role in providing technical and customer support to ensure smooth business operations.
This varied position requires attention to detail, the ability to resolve issues efficiently, and excellent communication skills.
No two days are the same, and you will be encouraged to develop your skills as you grow within the business.
Please note this role will be delivering telephone and email support to customers during office hours, plus occasional out-of-hours support on rotation.
Responsibilities
- Providing telephone and email support to customers.
- Diagnosing and taking ownership of faults.
- Working with third party suppliers to manage new orders and faults.
- Provisioning new and managing existing orders and maintaining existing customers, managing multiple orders.
- Capturing and logging information accurately in our customer database.
- Providing progress updates to key stake holders at project milestones.
- Occasional site visits to assist with installations and diagnosing faults.
- Raising ad-hoc invoices for department purchases working on occasion with our finance team.
Skills and Experience Required
- A professional telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and determination to resolve issues.
- Ability to gather information and chase third parties to complete tasks.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
- Telephony and IT experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
