Solar PV Installer / Electrician
Are you an experienced Electrician looking to build your career within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector?

Our client is a well‑established, fast‑growing business specialising in Solar PV installations across residential and commercial properties.
Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit two experienced Solar PV Installers / Electricians to join their friendly and professional team.
Based in Ware, you'll travel to customer sites across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas (typically within a 50‑mile radius), working on a variety of installation projects where quality, safety and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.
- Job Overview
- Installing Solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties.
- Installing and connecting electrical wiring, inverters and associated system components.
- Carrying out electrical installation work in line with current regulations and project specifications.
- Using hand and power tools to assemble mounting systems and electrical infrastructure.
- Testing, commissioning and fault‑finding Solar PV systems.
- Working safely at height whilst maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard whilst delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment on every project.
Skills & Experience Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Previous hands‑on site experience as an Electrician or Solar PV Installer.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Desirable
- Previous Solar PV installation experience.
- ECS Gold Card.
