Our client is a well-established, fast-growing business specialising in Solar PV installations across residential and commercial properties.
Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Roofer to join their friendly and professional team.
Based in Ware, you'll travel to customer sites across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas (typically within a 50-mile radius), working on a variety of installation projects where quality, safety and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.
- Job Overview
- Install and remove roof tiles, sales and other roofing materials as required.
- Prepare roof for solar PV mounting systems
- Installing PV panels and bird roofing
- Install roof hooks, brackets, flashing rails
- Work with roofing materials to cut and shape as needed to waterproof and seal
- Identify and carry out damages and minor repairs
- Working safely at height whilst maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard whilst delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment on every project.
Skills & Experience Required
- Knowledge of domestic roofing systems including pitched roofs
- Proven experiece as a Roofer in the UK
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Previous hands-on site experience
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Desirable
- Previous Solar PV installation experience, Solar Mounting experience, Flat roofing
- ECS Gold Card.
