Hours: Full-time, 36.5 hours per week Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm (30-minute lunch), and Friday: 7:30am-12:00pm

- Job Overview
- Receiving incoming goods and checking deliveries against purchase orders.
- Inspecting deliveries for damage, defects or discrepancies and reporting any issues.
- Accurately recording goods received on the relevant stock/inventory system.
- Labelling and storing materials correctly, ensuring good stock rotation.
- Maintaining an organised and tidy Goods In and Stores area.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries, shortages or discrepancies.
- Carrying out regular stock checks, cycle counts and assisting with stocktakes.
- Keeping stock records accurate and up to date.
- Picking, preparing and kitting components ready for production.
- Ensuring components are stored correctly and are readily available when required.
- Supporting the wider team with general stores and warehouse duties.
- Working in line with company quality, environmental and health & safety procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within warehouse, stores, logistics, dispatch or goods-in/goods-out.
- Experience receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods.
- Previous experience using a stock control, inventory, ERP or warehouse management system.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
- Experience maintaining delivery documentation and accurate records.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with suppliers and internal teams.
- Reliable, punctual and dependable.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to resolving problems.
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous.
- Experience with ERP systems such as EPICOR, Vantage or similar would be desirable.
- A full, clean UK driving licence would be advantageous as some deliveries may be required.
