We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Sales Order Administrator (Export & Logistics) to join our dynamic team. About the Role
As a Sales Order Administrator (Export & Logistics), you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. The Sales Order Administrator (Export & Logistics) will manage customer orders from initial receipt through to dispatch, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Working closely with production, logistics teams and external freight partners, you will coordinate shipments, prepare export documentation and provide exceptional customer service throughout the order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery using the ERP system (SOP).
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is entered correctly.
- Coordinate UK and international shipments with freight forwarders and couriers.
- Prepare and check export documentation, ensuring compliance with international shipping requirements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Monitor delivery schedules and proactively resolve any issues affecting customer orders.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records within the ERP system.
- Liaise closely with production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support export activities and ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and logistics partners.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sales Order Administrator, Sales Order Coordinator, Sales Support Administrator, Export Administrator, or within a similar order processing role.
- Proven experience using an ERP system for Sales Order Processing (SOP). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent understanding of sales order processing and operational workflows.
- Exposure to shipping, logistics or export procedures would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of export documentation including EUR1, Certificates of Origin (COO) and Letters of Credit (LC) would be beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
