Production Assistant in Stevenage

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Stevenage for an initial 4-6 week assignment. Working on a specific production project, you'll play an important role in ensuring products are checked and sealed to the highest standards.

About the Role

As a Temporary Production Operative, you'll be carrying out light production work, checking and sealing packaging before products are dispatched. Whilst the work is repetitive, it requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.

What You Will Be Doing

• Inspecting packaging for quality and accuracy
• Sealing products ready for dispatch
• Carrying out visual quality checks
• Following production instructions and quality procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working to production targets whilst maintaining accuracy
• Supporting the wider production team as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of accuracy
• Ability to carry out repetitive tasks with consistency
• Reliable and punctual
• Good manual dexterity
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Available for an immediate start and able to commit to a 4-6 week assignment
