An exciting opportunity for an accomplished Head of Marketing & Communications to take a pivotal senior leadership role within a high-profile, purpose-led organisation entering an important period of growth.

Reporting to the Marketing/Commercial Director, the Head of Marketing & Communications will lead the development and delivery of an integrated marketing, communications and PR strategy, strengthening brand positioning, increasing market visibility and supporting commercial growth.

This is a broad role requiring someone equally comfortable operating strategically with senior stakeholders and taking a hands‑on approach to delivery.

  • Develop and deliver the organisation-wide marketing and communications strategy.
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging and external corporate narrative.
  • Drive PR, media relations, thought leadership and strategic communications.
  • Develop B2B marketing campaigns to generate quality leads and support commercial growth.
  • Own content strategy across PR, website, social media, case studies and corporate communications.
  • Lead digital activity including Linked In, email marketing, SEO, website optimisation and paid campaigns.
  • Develop events, webinars, roundtables and stakeholder engagement programmes.
  • Identify marketing opportunities arising from consumer, regulatory, public policy and market developments.
  • Work closely with commercial, business development and operational teams.
  • Manage external PR and marketing agencies, suppliers and budgets.
  • Monitor brand reach, engagement, lead generation, conversion and ROI.
  • Build the marketing capability required to support future organisational growth.

  • Significant senior-level marketing and communications leadership experience.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering organisation-wide marketing strategies.
  • Strong PR, media relations and corporate communications expertise.
  • Experience developing brand positioning, corporate narrative and thought leadership.
  • Demonstrable success delivering commercial growth, lead generation or market development.
  • Experience working closely with Directors and senior leadership teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, automation and marketing analytics.
  • Experience managing agencies, suppliers and marketing budgets.
  • Strategic and commercially minded, while comfortable remaining hands‑on with delivery.
  • Experience within a regulated, professional services, membership, consumer affairs, public policy or purpose‑led organisation would be advantageous.
