This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, highly numerate graduate to join a well established local business as part of their busy finance function. Ideally you will be a graduate in maths, economics, finance, accounting OR be studying towards your AAT or similar accountancy qualification.
This role involves working as part of a small finance team.
Responsibilities- Complete daily ledgers and reconciliations including bank reconciliations.
- Run reports and work with internal departments to resolve any issues.
- Support month end process including reconciling control accounts, loan/deposit accruals and other tasks.
- Process payments, including loan/deposit payments and treasury asset purchases, ensuring correct levels of approval and segregation of duties.
- Provide financial and non-financial analysis for management decision making.
- Manage accounts payable email box, log invoices, assist with company credit card reconciliations and carry out supplier payment runs.
- Support updating regulatory reporting procedure manuals and documentation.
- A degree in Economics, Maths, Finance, Accounting OR studying towards an AAT or relevant finance qualification.
- Highly competent on Excel.
