An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a busy organisation on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on, employee relations-focused position, ideal for an HR professional with strong case management experience who can provide expert advice and support across a wide range of complex HR matters.
Working closely with managers across the business, the HR Manager will take ownership of employee relations cases, ensuring they are managed fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policies.

Job Overview
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied employee relations caseload, advising managers on best practice and ensuring all cases are handled professionally from start to finish. You will also support wider HR initiatives and contribute to maintaining a positive employee experience.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing a wide range of employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, capability and performance issues
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers in line with employment legislation and company policy
- Supporting investigations, preparing documentation and attending formal meetings where required
- Coaching managers to improve confidence in handling employee relations matters
- Ensuring all case documentation is accurate, compliant and completed within agreed timescales
- Identifying potential risks and recommending practical solutions
- Supporting organisational change projects where required
- Maintaining HR records and producing reports as needed
- Contributing to continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience working as an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner
- Extensive employee relations and case management experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience managing complex HR cases independently
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Able to prioritise a busy workload and work autonomously
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) desirable
