An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and analytical Commercial Coordinator to join a growing and successful business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data, improving commercial performance and working closely with senior stakeholders to support business growth. This is a varied role combining commercial analysis, finance, logistics coordination and project support.

Working closely with senior leadership you’ll play a key role in:

  • Pricing new business opportunities
  • Monitoring profitability
  • Identifying cost-saving initiatives
  • Supporting the successful delivery of commercial projects across both UK and international markets

Job Overview

  • Support the pricing and commercial evaluation of new business opportunities and existing operations
  • Analyse profitability, operating costs, and commercial performance, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Prepare commercial reports, financial analysis, and management information to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and other key stakeholders
  • Monitor commercial data, pricing, contracts, and operational documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cost analysis activities
  • Coordinate logistics projects and operational activities, ensuring efficient delivery and communication between stakeholders
  • Work closely with Finance to reconcile operational costs, invoices, and customer billing
  • Support tender submissions, commercial contracts, and new business initiatives
  • Assist with ad-hoc commercial projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a commercial, finance, operations, logistics, or analytical role
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, or profitability reporting
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using ERP or finance systems would be advantageous
  • Commercially curious, proactive, and eager to contribute to business growth
