Lawrence Cleaning Solutions is looking for a reliable and hardworking Medical Surgery Cleaner to join our team.
You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness across a medical surgery, helping to provide a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
Due to the nature of the environment, we're looking for someone with a great eye for detail who understands the importance of following cleaning procedures carefully and consistently.
- Clean consultation rooms, waiting areas, reception spaces, offices, toilets and communal areas
- Clean and sanitise surfaces and frequently touched areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the surgery
- Follow assigned cleaning schedules and site-specific procedures
- Follow colour-coding procedures to help prevent cross-contamination
- Use cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely and responsibly
- Follow health and safety requirements, including COSHH procedures
- Report any cleaning, maintenance or safety concerns to management

- Comfortable working within a healthcare environment and around patients and staff
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Professional, respectful and discreet when working around patients
- Previous commercial or healthcare cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential

What You’ll Be Doing

- Adhering to health and safety requirements, including COSHH procedures
- Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness
- Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and manage their workload effectively
- Understands the importance of hygiene within a medical environment
- Is professional and respectful when working around patients and surgery staff
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous commercial or healthcare cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential
