Salary: £40,000‐£55,000 + share options
The Role: Our Compliance Associates are responsible for ensuring that our business runs seamlessly day‐to‐day and can continue to grow rapidly by remaining fully‐compliant with all regulatory obligations in any jurisdiction we operate within. Our compliance team also supports the wider network of clients, lawyers and operations staff from onboarding to client advice and case conclusion. Below are core responsibilities:
- Reviewing tickets for compliance support raised by lawyers and operations staff.
- Understanding and applying our defined processes to deliver on key requests.
- Working with colleagues across operations teams to support the day‐to‐day functioning of the business.
- Providing compliance and risk advice on matters including, but not limited to:
- Conflicts of interest
- Confidentiality points
- Cyber risk
- AML‐related checks
- Onboarding and KYC work
- Sanctions
What You'll Bring:
- At least 2 years' experience working in a Compliance team at an existing law firm in the UK.
- Adaptable, energetic and solutions‐orientated approach to work.
- Legal training or completed period of recognised legal training.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High standards of professional excellence.
- Team player and strong communicator within team environments.
