The Role

Are you passionate about law and excited by the future of legal technology? We’re seeking an innovative CILEX qualified Legal Executive with Civil Litigation expertise to join our team. If you’re CILEX qualified with 3+ years of experience in Civil Disputes and eager to blend legal expertise with ground-breaking tech, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of civil litigation matters, focusing on advising clients in civil disputes with another party (typically between neighbours).
  • Drafting letters before action.
  • Drafting and filing money claim applications.
  • Instructing barristers/advocates on behalf of clients involved in litigated matters.
  • Advise clients on legal merits, potential outcomes, and next steps.

Requirements

  • CILEX qualification with 3+ years of experience with Civil Disputes/Litigation.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a high volume caseload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with questions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Knowledge/Experience working with local councils or housing associations.
  • Knowledge/Experience working on commercial property matters.
  • Interest in AI and how it can be used to improve the legal system.
