The Role
You will be the first QA Engineer at Lawhive, shaping a new QA function and working closely with technical and product leaders. You will set high standards for delivering exceptional software used by lawyers and clients, including new challenges around LLM‐based services.
Responsibilities
- Own the testing infrastructure to improve product quality and prevent regressions in AI‐first software.
- Collaborate with product teams and lawyer users to validate work, improve testing rigor, and contribute to release processes.
- Build and maintain test suites and pipelines that keep pace with rapid product development across product and AI functions.
- Work with engineering teams to adopt better testing methodologies and tools.
- Define and monitor key flows, runbooks, and quality metrics; contribute to monitoring and reporting infrastructure with platform and DevOps engineers.
Qualifications
- Comfortable with automated testing tools and frameworks in web, TypeScript, and Python ecosystems (e.g., Playwright, GitHub Actions, Vittest, Pytest).
- Experience building testing frameworks and patterns for high‐velocity engineering teams.
- Worked with engineering and infrastructure teams to integrate testing patterns into daily work.
- Familiarity with AI software and unique testing challenges posed by non‐deterministic systems.
