About the Role:
This isn’t just any job - it’s a launchpad. As a Founder’s Office Associate at Lawhive, you’ll work side-by-side with our CEO and co-founder on the thorniest, most important problems in the business. You’ll be dropped into different parts of the company - from commercial and product, to ops and finance - wherever there’s a challenge that needs fast thinking, deep analysis, and decisive action. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, and you’ll be expected to bring a powerful mix of intelligence, curiosity, and action orientation. You’ll learn directly from founders who’ve built and scaled companies before, while building the judgment and toolkit to become a future business leader yourself.
The ideal candidate is a high EQ, high horsepower generalist - someone who wants to prove themselves at the coalface of a startup, take ownership, and grow fast. If you're drawn to the idea of taking a startup from early traction to category leadership and want to do it by solving the hardest problems along the way, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
- Acting as a right hand to the CEO and founding team - identifying critical business problems and deploying quickly to solve them
- Leading zero-to-one initiatives across the business, from idea to implementation - often across multiple departments (Sales, Product, Marketing, Ops, and more)
- Turning ambiguity into clarity, structuring and solving open-ended strategic and operational challenges
- Designing and tracking key metrics to help the business scale smartly - building dashboards, business cases, and board-level recommendations
- Driving high-impact execution - whether that means closing the loop on operational gaps or launching new internal tools or processes
Requirements:
This Role Might Be for You If You...
- Thrive in ambiguity and get energy from solving unstructured problems
- Have a blend of consulting-style strategy chops and an operator’s bias for action
- Want a front-row seat to what it takes to build and scale a venture-backed startup
- Are motivated by high-trust, high-autonomy environments where you’ll be pushed to grow quickly
- See this as a stepping stone to becoming a GM, founder, or functional leader
What We're Looking for:
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm, VC/PE, startup, or high-growth business operations role, or you’ve been a founder of a venture backed startup or high growth bootstrapped business.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills - you can work from a blank page to business case
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you know how to bring people with you
- Metrics-driven and commercially minded - you love measuring what matters and making decisions with data
- Highly resourceful and proactive - you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable navigating across different functions and diving deep where needed
