Lawfront provides legal services to individuals and businesses through leading regional law firms - Farleys, Fisher Jones Greenwood, Brachers, Slater Heelis and Nelsons. We are currently going through an exciting period of positive change and growth, including the group wide implementation of ShareDo as our new case management system, and as such, we are seeking a skilled Senior ShareDo Workflow Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will implement and customise the ShareDo platform alongside other SaaS solutions. You will gain exposure to our product and business teams working closely with them to translate requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring clients receive maximum value from our implementations. Additionally, you will work alongside our junior developers, providing mentorship and helping them grow their technical skills and platform knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Platform Knowledge: The knowledge and ability to build strong working knowledge of the ShareDo platform and related SaaS solutions. To be able to apply platform capabilities to solve business problems effectively. The ability to keep up with platform updates and features to improve implementation quality.
- Configuration and Customisation: You will configure work types, workflows, and forms within ShareDo to meet client business requirements. You will modify fields, layouts, and business rules according to product specifications. You will implement automation to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Extension and Integration: Your work will include developing custom widgets and extending platform functionality using JavaScript. Utilising platform APIs to integrate with external systems when required. Building reliable connections between ShareDo and client systems.
- Technical Contributions: Taking ownership of assigned development tasks and features. Providing technical input on implementation approaches and solutions. Supporting junior team members with technical guidance when needed through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance to build platform expertise and development best practices with the team. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in development and production environments. Implementing improvements to enhance application performance and user experience. Addressing system bottlenecks and optimising code for better efficiency.
- Best Practices: Following established software development best practices including code reviews and testing. Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes. Documenting technical solutions and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Agile Teamwork: Participating actively in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborating effectively with product owners and business analysts. Delivering consistent value through reliable code and solutions.
- Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience with ShareDo platform development and customisation. Proficiency in JavaScript, with knowledge of related web technologies. Solid understanding of REST APIs and integration concepts. Working knowledge of workflow concepts and process automation. Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Professional Experience: Ideally c.4+ years in software development, with experience in workflow or business process platforms. Experience collaborating in development teams. Successfully completed platform implementations for business clients. Familiarity with agile development methods.
