Field Seymour Parkes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join its highly regarded Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or aspiring legal professional to gain hands-on experience within a leading commercial law firm, working alongside experienced lawyers on a broad range of high-quality real estate matters. You will play an important role in supporting the team while developing your legal knowledge and practical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

Working under the supervision of qualified lawyers, you will assist with a variety of commercial property and real estate matters, providing both legal and administrative support to ensure transactions progress efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening new files and undertaking client due diligence and Know Your Client (KYC) procedures
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, legal documents and attendance notes
  • Conducting legal research and property-related searches
  • Managing and maintaining electronic documents, databases and records
  • Assisting with document reviews, proof-reading and document production
  • Supporting transaction management and completion processes
  • Liaising with clients, agents and other third parties
  • Assisting with billing, time recording and other administrative processes
  • Supporting business development activities and client events where required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree (minimum 2:1 preferred)
  • Has a genuine interest in Real Estate and Commercial Property law
  • Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Has strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Is confident managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
