Why Nelsons Wealth Management?
At Nelsons, we look to empower our employees and provide them with a positive and supportive culture where they feel confident in taking control of their development and career with guidance, training, care and good quality work enabling them to expand their expertise and grow professionally.
Not all financial adviser roles are the same. At Nelsons Wealth Management, advisers are free to focus on what they do best: delivering high-quality financial planning. We are now seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join our Nottingham office.
We are part of one of the East Midlands' leading professional services firms, with strong links to legal specialists across private client, trusts, probate, family and corporate services. That creates opportunities to work on more complex and rewarding cases than many traditional advice firms can offer.
In 2023, Nelsons became part of Lawfront, a national group of leading regional law firms dedicated to delivering comprehensive legal support to individuals and businesses nationwide. Committed to strategic growth, Lawfront is aiming to build a group in the top 10 of UK regional law firms. As part of this group, you will be able to benefit from working locally for a well-respected leading law firm whilst accessing the scale, investment resources, expertise and professional development opportunities of a national organisation.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive package and benefits that you would expect from a leading regional law firm which is part of a group of national scale. We are growing and looking for an experienced Financial Adviser to join our team.
What Makes Us Different?
- Fully salaried role with a clear route to senior leadership and partnership
- Independent advice with no pressure to recommend in-house products or investment solutions
- Strong flow of referrals and opportunities from across the wider firm
- Opportunity to bring existing clients if desired, without pressure to transfer assets or change existing arrangements
- Interesting, technically challenging work including inheritance tax planning, trusts, estate planning and holistic financial planning
- Dedicated paraplanning, administration and compliance support
- Fee-based advice model focused on client outcomes rather than product sales
- Market-leading technology, cashflow modelling and AI-powered advice tools
- Collaborative culture with advisers, solicitors and professional support teams working together
- Established reputation and long-term financial security within a growing business
