Our specialist Court of Protection team provides expert advice and support for individuals who lack capacity to make decisions about their personal welfare, health, and financial matters.

We are committed to providing a sensitive, professional, and person‑centred approach.

The Role We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Paralegal to join our growing Court of Protection team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in gaining experience in mental capacity law and supporting vulnerable clients.

Key Responsibilities Assisting solicitors with the management of property and affairs deputyships and attorneyships.

Drafting legal documents, applications to the Court of Protection, and correspondence with clients, the court, and third parties.

Liaising with clients, family members, care providers, and professionals involved in care and financial management for clients.

Attending meetings and court hearings where appropriate.

Maintaining accurate records and case management systems.

Supporting fee earners.

Key Requirements Previous experience working in a Court of Protection or Private Client role is highly desirable, but not essential.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism.

A law degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Experience using case management systems (e. g.
