Trethowans is seeking a talented and ambitious NQ-3 PQE Solicitor to join our highly regarded Agricultural, Rural & Property team in Salisbury. Our team acts for landowners, farming businesses, landed estates, developers, local authorities and private clients, advising on a broad range of agricultural, rural and commercial property matters. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-quality work, including strategic land projects, development agreements, agricultural transactions and complex commercial property matters.
The Role
- Buying and selling agricultural, rural and commercial land
- Farm and estate acquisitions and disposals
- Agricultural and commercial leases
- Option agreements, promotion agreements and development agreements
- Strategic land transactions
- Overage arrangements
- Easements, covenants and rights affecting land
- Property aspects of farming business and succession planning matters
- Sales, acquisitions and refinancing of high-value property assets
- General commercial property transactions
The team regularly advises on significant development land projects, supporting landowners from the negotiation of option and promotion agreements through to the ultimate sale and development of land.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
