We are currently looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy and friendly Residential Property team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a modern and growing firm.

The Role You will support our busy residential conveyancing department, assisting with a caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for property law and an interest in building a legal career.

Your duties will include: Assisting fee earners with managing residential conveyancing transactions.

Opening and closing files, updating case management systems.

Drafting documents and correspondence.

Communicating with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.

Handling post-completion tasks, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.

Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

About You We are looking for someone who has: Experience in a conveyancing or legal support role is desirable.

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks.

Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with conveyancing software is a plus.

A strong communicator with excellent client service skills.

Capable of working independently and within a team.

Comfortable using their initiative and identifying areas for improvement.
