We are currently looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy and friendly Residential Property team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a modern and growing firm.
The Role
You will support our busy residential conveyancing department, assisting with a caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for property law and an interest in building a legal career.
Your duties will include
- Assisting fee earners with managing residential conveyancing transactions.
- Opening and closing files, updating case management systems.
- Drafting documents and correspondence.
- Communicating with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
- Handling post-completion tasks, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience in a conveyancing or legal support role is desirable.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with conveyancing software is a plus.
- A strong communicator with excellent client service skills.
- Capable of working independently and within a team.
- Comfortable using their initiative and identifying areas for improvement.
