Role Overview
As an IT Trainer, you will play a crucial role during this exciting period. You will participate in projects aimed at enhancing the technical skills of our staff, ensuring they can leverage technology effectively in their daily work. Collaborating with team members, you will ensure a consistent training experience for all learners and lead training projects as part of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, inductions, and webinars tailored to our legal professionals’ needs.
- Content Development: Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and e-learning modules.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback to enhance programs continually.
- Support and Guidance: Provide ongoing support to colleagues, troubleshooting IT issues and enhancing their understanding of software applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and HR teams to identify training needs and develop strategies to meet them.
- Championing Technology: Promote a learning culture and positive approach to adopting new technologies across the firm.
- Project Contribution: Participate in projects involving training components, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development, including testing and documenting new applications.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Training Experience: Proven experience delivering IT training within the legal sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and legal software such as ShareDo, NetDocs, and iManage.
- Driving License: Valid driving license and access to a car, as travel between offices is required.
- Service Excellence: Ability to deliver high standards of service to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Learner Engagement: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate learners.
