12-Month Maternity Cover – Health & Safety Solicitor (HSE Lawyer)
LawFlex is supporting a valued client in sourcing a skilled Health & Safety Solicitor for a 12-month maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing in-house legal team and contribute to a business with a strong safety culture and national operations.
Start Date: May 2025
Working Model: Hybrid
Contract Length: 12 months
Commitment: Full-time preferred, but open to part-time or flexible arrangements
What We’re Looking For:
- We are seeking a well-rounded solicitor (ideally 3+ PQE) with strong Health & Safety experience, particularly in:
- Advising on general Health and Safety compliance and risk mitigation.
- Handling Health & Safety Executive (HSE) investigations or similar regulatory matters.
- Experience with large vehicle fleet safety issues, including Traffic Commissioner and Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) inquiries.
- Experience in personal injury (PI) claims is desirable but not essential.
