PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lawes are currently working with a highly regarded Insurance Broker who have an exciting new opportunity for a Corporate Commercial Account Manager to join their team in Suffolk. Our client is open to individuals from one specific class of business who would like a clear path to progress within the corporate division. Our client offers a flexible work pattern with only two days a week in the office and encourages all individuals to be client facing with a clear training programme in place.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for managing the daily commercial insurance requirements for a specific portfolio of corporate clients.
- Producing client reports, cover summaries, checking policies and responding to daily insurance queries and questions from clients will be the main features of the handler's day.
- Build long lasting relationships with clients.
- Prepare top quality, accurate client documents, obtain renewal terms and seek to provide alternative quotations before producing a final presentation for Account Executives to discuss with clients.
- Handle any mid-term adjustments in a proactive and responsive manner.
- Ensure all client details are recorded accurately and entered onto the system in a timely fashion.
- Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required.
- Take care of account queries and credit control matters promptly highlighting any concerns to Account Executives/Directors.
- Align with key legal and regulatory policies; safeguarding you and the business.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years Commercial Insurance experience is essential.
- Cert Cii qualified or willing to work towards.
- Good knowledge of Word, Microsoft and other business tools would be an advantage.
- Must have a very professional attitude & telephone manner.
