PURPOSE-OF-ROLE
Lawes is working with a well-established brokerage seeking a capable and driven individual to manage a book of small-to-mid-sized commercial insurance clients – someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being client-facing, and is eager to contribute within a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and service an existing book of commercial clients
- Support new business activity where needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness
- Contribute to a positive and proactive team culture
DAY-TO-DAY
- Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments across various commercial products
- Engage with clients regularly via phone and email
- Liaise with underwriters to obtain terms and negotiate on behalf of clients
- Provide technical support to colleagues where appropriate
- Work closely with the team to share knowledge and ideas
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2-years insurance experience essential
- Background in commercial lines preferred
- Experience with client servicing and policy administration
- Cert-CII or working towards qualification desirable
- New business production or a client book welcome but not essential

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
