The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We’re engaged with a reputable insurance firm to find a candidate for a significant position within their team. You will manage underwriting for Commercial Combined products, property owners, contractors’ liability, excess of loss, and other commercial contracts. You will also handle referrals beyond Coverholders’ authority and support product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Underwrite Commercial Combined quotations, MTAs, and renewals
  • Act as the primary referral contact for Coverholders
  • Develop and refine scheme wordings and products
  • Provide technical expertise on policy wordings and underwriting queries
  • Conduct market research and support Binder Management
  • Review property surveys and claims referrals from TPAs
  • Deliver training and contribute to capacity provider reports

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance wordings
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OneNote
  • Highly organised with a structured approach
  • Ability to simplify complex underwriting concepts
