PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are partnering with a reputable insurance company seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Commercial Underwriter to join their New Business team. You will be responsible for evaluating and assessing complex risks across various business classes, providing technical support to stakeholders, and mentoring less experienced team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and assess complex risks across a variety of business classes
- Train, coach, mentor, and guide team members
- Provide technical support to various stakeholders across the business
- Support Change to shape the department and its processes
- Deliver short-term and one-off projects and activities
- Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with our Agents
- Resolve complex referrals
