Job title: Insurance Account Handler
Location: 2 days in Glasgow City office, 3 days at home – Hybrid working
Salary: up to £45,000 dependant on experience
Purpose of role:
This is a great opportunity to join a global broking company, working alongside respected company directors, handling large and often complex corporate insurance.
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with company directors to provide a professional and efficient service to corporate level clients
- Handling of new and existing risks
- Dealing with quotations, renewals, MTA’s, policy issue, market submissions, insurer negotiations and all associate support
- Liaising with insurers to build strong working relationships
- Managing account queries and credit control matters
- Diary management
Experience:
- Currently holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications would be an advantage
- Comprehensive understanding of most commercial insurance risks including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, cyber, etc.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- IT literate
- Acturis experience would be helpful
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in the commercial insurance broking industry.
