Overview
Lawes is proud to represent a leading UK-based insurance intermediary seeking a Corporate Account Handler to join their dynamic team. You will manage the full administration of mid-market and corporate clients’ insurance needs, including renewals, adjustments, quotations and invoicing. Supporting the Account Executive, you will help drive client retention and service excellence in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service to support client retention
- Assist with renewal strategy and attend client meetings
- Source competitive terms and present to clients
- Issue renewal documents in line with contract certainty
- Ensure timely premium collection
- Handle client and insurer queries efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and manage tasks on Acturis
- Process policy changes and issue updates
- Liaise with internal teams as needed
Day-to-day
- Deliver high-quality service to mid-market and corporate clients
- Work collaboratively within a team of 15 to ensure smooth operations and knowledge sharing
- Use Acturis to manage documentation, tasks and client communication
Experience
- Ideally a minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial insurance handling or broking
- Experience managing a portfolio of corporate or mid-market clients
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Efficient and organised approach to workload
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
