To oversee and manage the placement of predominantly Large Corporate, Complex, and Multi-Class insurance solutions, supporting a nationwide agency network throughout the process. The role involves liaising with insurance partners to secure appropriate terms and ensuring delivery in line with agreed criteria, service standards, compliance requirements, and delegated authority limits – both at individual case and portfolio level.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish and advise on client requirements for large existing and new business cases, including participation in large case strategy discussions.
- Initiate and authorise new and existing business quotations to secure optimal products and terms within agreed service levels.
- Provide technical advice and market insight to Agents on cover, appetite and placement strategy.
- Negotiate with insurers to ensure appropriate cover, accurate risk presentation, and a seamless process between Agent, insurer and client.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with underwriting teams, sector specialists, placement teams and business development colleagues.
- Hold external suppliers accountable for service standards and quality, escalating concerns where necessary.
- Deliver on-job coaching, mentoring and technical development to Sales.
