PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lawes Consulting Group is supporting a well-regarded brokerage in their search for an account Manager who will deliver comprehensive, day-to-day account management to mid-to-large UK corporate clients within the Property and Casualty – Retail sector. The primary objective of the role is to retain and grow client relationships through consistent delivery of outstanding service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle the day-to-day administration of client insurance programmes, supporting Account Executives and New Business teams in servicing, client retention, and growth.
- Arrange insurance cover for clients in line with company guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Take ownership of renewal processes and policy amendments, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Source quotations for both new and renewal business.
- Produce precise and compliant documentation for both clients and insurers.
- Validate policy documents for accuracy before issuing them to clients.
- Address and resolve client enquiries and mid-term changes to cover and risk.
- Ensure swift and accurate handling of accounting queries.
- Identify client exposures and recommend appropriate insurance and risk management strategies alongside the Account Executive or Partner.
- Provide necessary management reports and data as required.
- Oversee and coordinate international insurance programmes and liaise with global networks where relevant.

- Managing and servicing client insurance arrangements.
