We are partnering with a highly respected commercial insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their corporate team in Leicestershire. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of corporate clients, handling cross-class risks across both new and existing business. You will work closely with external Account Executives daily, providing exceptional client service and contributing to continued business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive support to Account Executives across the full account management cycle.
  • Oversee administrative tasks for both new and existing client accounts.
  • Work with a diverse range of Commercial insurance products, such as Property, Liability, Combined, and Package policies.
  • Efficiently process renewals, MTAs, and client queries with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and maintain documentation and procedures for a broad client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service throughout the entire policy lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to internal compliance standards and FCA regulatory requirements.

SKILLS

  • Around 5+ years’ experience in commercial insurance.
  • Comfortable handling accounts over £100k GWP.
  • Familiar with a range of commercial products, ideally including Commercial Combined.
  • Experience using Acturis would be a big plus.
  • Great communicator who builds strong relationships.
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid admin and operational skills.
  • Confident when it comes to influencing, negotiating, and getting things over the line.
