Lawes Consulting are looking for a customer-focused Insurance Client Advisor to join our clients team. You will work alongside Account Executives to deliver excellent service to clients, helping to retain and grow accounts. This role involves supporting with account management, broking, and technical tasks while building strong client relationships and ensuring a smooth service experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare documentation for new client accounts based on insurance needs
  • Gather renewal terms, research alternatives, and prepare materials for Account Executives
  • Manage renewal quotes and mid-term adjustments, keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Respond to insurer queries, confirm coverage, process policies, and follow up on documentation
  • Check policy documents for accuracy before approval and release
  • Support with account queries and credit control, escalating when needed
  • Apply compliance and regulatory requirements to all tasks

DAY-TO-DAY

  • Work closely with Account Executives to support clients
  • Keep client and policy records accurate and up to date
  • Communicate with insurers and clients to resolve queries quickly
  • Track deadlines to make sure tasks are completed on time
  • Suggest improvements to processes and support team goals

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in insurance administration, ideally in a commercial setting
  • Ability to work in a regulated, target-driven environment
  • Understanding of handling customer information securely and recognising potential risks

SKILLS

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Confident with Microsoft Office
  • Good analytical skills with accuracy in handling data
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills to support the team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working towards or holding a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (e.g., Dip CII/FIT) is an advantage
  • GCSE-level education or equivalent
