Are you a Claims Handler with knowledge or experience in Casualty Claims, passionate about making a real difference to customers within a global, creative, and award-winning organisation? Property claims experience will also be considered.

The Role

You will manage a portfolio of up to 300 casualty claims, including Employer’s Liability, Public Liability and Product Liability claims. You will work with a range of stakeholders – including policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters and panel solicitors. Excellent training to set you up for success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess a range of simple and complex claims, evaluating liability and quantum and considering all relevant factors, including special investigation and recovery.
  • Identify complaints and customer expressions of dissatisfaction, handling issues effectively or escalating to the appropriate level of management.
  • Negotiate claim settlements to a successful conclusion, delivering high levels of customer care and maintaining a professional claims service at all times.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and clients to ensure a fair and robust investigation of each claim case, following specific handling guidelines and best practice frameworks.
  • Attend and contribute to periodic review meetings with brokers, solicitors, and other external parties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in claims handling, ideally within a Casualty discipline (Employer’s Liability, Product Liability, or property).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate liability and quantum across a varied caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with brokers, solicitors, and policyholders.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to fair outcomes and professional service standards.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume portfolio effectively.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to engage with continuous learning and development.
