Job Title: Casualty Claims Handler (100% Homebased) Salary: to £27,000 – £30,000 Location: Home based Purpose of the role: Due to another internal promotion, this global client is looking to recruit an experienced casualty claims handler to join their team on a 100% home-based basis. In this role you will investigate casualty – EL, PL and Product liability insurance claims from intimation through to settlement, establishing extent of damage and liability on behalf of key clients. Key responsibilities: * Act as technical reference point for key clients regarding liability. * Handle a caseload of public an employers’ liability claims from intimation through to settlement. * Assess damage/liability, identify fraud and negotiate quantum. * Liaise with clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants and third parties. * Provide an efficient and courteous service in a professional manner. * Handle your own caseload from intimation through to settlement. Experience: * Track record of handling liability claims – EL, PL and product. * Confident handling claims from intimation through to settlement. * Knowledge and experience of handling MOJ portal claims. * A good understanding of insurance principles. * Excellent customer service. * Good attention to detail. * Strong organisational skills.
