We are seeking an Account Executive to join our client's Durham based office. As a key client-facing representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and insurers, contributing to the growth of the business through networking and securing new sales opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve annual and monthly new business and retention targets through networking and relationship building
- Support strategic profitable growth by managing a portfolio of Corporate-level clients
- Deliver account management services and present new business presentations to clients
- Review client needs and offer solutions, utilising the company’s in-house claims service
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes within the industry
- Act as a knowledge base and support for all members of the company
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Cert CII, working towards Diploma level
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Effective at managing customer expectations and working to strict deadlines
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of company processes and business goals
- Target-driven, highly motivated, and a self-starter
- Decisive and a team player
- Technical knowledge in Financial Services market and regulatory framework
- IT Skills: Microsoft Office, Acturis experience desired
DAY-TO-DAY
- Networking and building long-term relationships with clients and insurers
- Presenting new business presentations and renewal reports to clients
- Reviewing client needs and offering solutions
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes within the industry
