Team Profile

Our Property Underwriting team is a specialist unit within Clear Group, working primarily with delegated authority schemes. Based in our London office and supported by colleagues in Alcester, the team currently comprises 10 underwriters, with an additional 2 team members based remotely. We focus exclusively on Property underwriting and operate under a Binder agreement, with a strong track record of profitable growth. The team plays a vital role in supporting Clear's broader MGA strategy, offering exciting opportunities for progression within our wider underwriting business. We foster a supportive and collaborative working environment, where knowledge sharing, professional development, and continuous improvement are at the core of everything we do.

Position Profile

As an Assistant Property Underwriter, you’ll play a key role in growing and managing our property binder portfolio – applying sound technical judgment to deliver accurate, timely underwriting decisions. Whether you're early in your career or looking for a solid foundation in insurance, this is a great opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and join a business that invests in your long‑term growth.
