Job title: Senior Corporate Account Handler
Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Suffolk – Hybrid (2 days in the office)

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are working with an established Lloyds Broker within their Commercial team based in Suffolk.

Due to growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Account Handler to manage a portfolio of mid to large corporate risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with managing a portfolio of mid-to-large corporate accounts with premiums from £100k to £3million.
  • Specialise across Retail, Leisure & Hospitality sectors.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Attend client meetings and maintain strong relationships.
  • Manage both new business and renewals effectively.
  • DAY-TO-DAY
  • Oversee full client accounts, ensuring accuracy and service excellence.
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms.
  • Provide advice and support across multiple commercial classes.
  • Collaborate with the wider corporate team to meet targets and drive growth.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in large commercial or corporate insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage premiums over £100k.
  • Broad cross-class commercial insurance knowledge.
  • Proven client relationship management skills.

SKILLS

  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident in managing full client portfolios.
  • Acturis knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
