My client a global loss adjusting company are currently recruiting for Home Based Virtual Loss Adjusters.
As a Desk / Home Based Virtual Loss Adjuster, you will be assigned a range of Domestic and Commercial losses, to work with customer's and client's utilising our digital tools to find the best route of settlement to their claim. The role will be home based with occasional travel required depending on business needs.
You'll be supporting our valued clients in proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of property claims, up to the value of £100k. These can vary in complexity so it's essential that you'll put yourself in the shoes of the policy holder, appreciate each situation differently by investigating each claims with tact and a calm manner, establishing the facts, policy details and work towards a resolution.
Client relationships will be key, through management and delivery of SLA's and KPI's, in addition to proactive Client and Broker interaction to assist in efficient claims handling and business development opportunities
You'll also be liaising with colleagues within different business areas, such as Casualty, Major & Complex Loss depending upon the nature of the claim, so attention to detail is essential to ensure each step of the claims process is as thorough as possible, collating and recording all necessary statements and information as required.
You'll need to remove hurdles in the process if required, ensuing you get to the root cause of issues, take responsibility to resolve and problems and collate all necessary details to ensure swift settlement whenever possible.
We're looking for talent: Adjusters who enjoy providing solutions and have a keen interest in development of technology. Previous Loss Adjusting or complex high value Claims Handling experience is preferable for this role. Additionally, we'd like you to have/be:
- ACII or CILA qualified, however candidate who are qualified by experience are just as welcome to apply, however we do seek candidates with commitment to achieve their personal qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of FCA procedures and TCF initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of the insurance market
- Understanding of Client SLA compliance/productivity/quality requirements
- Good negotiation skills – for arranging appointments when required, alternative accommodation and explaining information when there is pushback on settlement
- To understand what matters to the customer and to put this first – putting yourself in their shoes
- Good IT skills, with a keen eye for detail
