About the role
We are looking for an experienced Property Claims Handler to manage a dedicated account of commercial property claims. This is a desk-based position with genuine long-term development potential — the business is committed to developing the right person into a qualified Loss Adjuster in the future.
Key responsibilities
- Manage an account of approximately 250 commercial property claims
- Handle a range of claim types including escape of water, accidental damage and related perils
- Work closely with loss adjusters throughout the claims process
- Handle files through to settlement, including reviewing scope of works
- Produce and present management information
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
What we're looking for
- Experience handling property claims, ideally within a commercial environment
- Confident managing your own caseload independently
- Strong customer service skills with a client-first mindset
- Ambition to develop into a Loss Adjuster role over the longer term
