Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker who thrives on winning new business, building relationships and developing your own portfolio?
We’re working with a well-established, large independent insurance broker in South Wales who are looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Broker to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of new business opportunities while working with the backing, market access and expertise of a major independent broker.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing new commercial opportunities across the South Wales market, building strong relationships with prospective clients and converting those opportunities into long-term accounts.
You’ll be involved in:
- Identifying and generating new commercial business opportunities
- Building relationships with business owners, introducers and professional networks
- Managing the full sales process from initial prospect through to placement
- Advising clients across a broad range of Commercial Insurance products
- Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive and appropriate solutions
- Developing and growing your own book of business
- Working closely with internal broking and support teams to deliver excellent client outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and develop existing relationships
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance professional who is confident winning business and developing relationships.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong experience within Commercial Insurance Broking
- A proven track record in new business development
- Good knowledge across multiple commercial classes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to engage with clients at senior/business-owner level
- A commercially minded approach and genuine appetite to grow a portfolio
- The ability to work autonomously while being part of a wider team
