Law Trucks, an independent used vehicle specialist with over 30 years experience in truck trading, has an opportunity available for an experienced HGV Mechanic. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a forward-thinking working environment, completing scheduled targets. If you enjoy a variation in work and not the same day in day out routine, this could be the one for you!

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • diagnosing faults and analysing where appropriate
  • preventative and routine maintenance
  • servicing
  • general repairs and fixing small issues
  • MOT preparation and presentation

You will work on a variety of makes and models, predominantly 18 tons and over. A can-do attitude is a must with the ability to work well as part of a team and happy to support your colleagues in their duties as you will be supported when required.

We have a recently installed state of the art insulated workshop complete with an ATF standard lane and fully up to date diagnostic equipment. It doesn't get cold in the winter!

The right candidate will have relevant experience as a HGV mechanic including experience working on Commercial vehicles. You will be competent in repairing engines, clutches, gearboxes and brakes. A class 1 licence is essential.

Working hours are 8.00 to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, based in our Stoke premises, overtime may be required in rare or emergency exceptions. Your weekend is your own!
