We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm to assist them in their search for a new Tax Legal Secretary. This role will be offered on a part-time basis, Monday – Wednesday, 9:30am – 5:30pm. This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for performing administrative and secretarial tasks for assigned attorneys.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, editing, transcribing, and proofreading documents.
  • Maintaining deadline reminder and calendar systems.
  • Organising and prioritising calls, incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and projects.
  • Scheduling activities, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintaining e-filing and records management systems.
  • Opening and maintaining all client and general files and conducting review for storage of older files.
  • Updating client contacts.
  • Ensuring weekly timesheets are efficiently dealt with.
  • Supporting absences within the secretarial team and liaising with administrative support staff.
  • Attending training and team meetings.
