We are working alongside a leading city based law firm and they are seeking a Health & Safety Lead for a 12 month fixed term maternity contract. The successful individual will provide administrative support to Health & Safety Manager and ESG Manager, occasionally stepping up in the event of holiday or sickness absence.
Daily duties will include:
- Attending H&S meetings
- Monitoring the H&S inbox highlighting any issues
- Coordinating in-house safety training
- Maintaining training records
- Participating in workplace inspections/first aid kit checks
Further tasks will include supporting document collation for fire risk assessment, external audits etc as well as sense-checking H&S documents / hub information for clarity and accessibility.
Applicants will have gained previous Health & Safety experience, within a law firm environment or professional services. Previous experience of SharePoint/iManage or similar document storage and sharing platforms is desirable. NEBOSH General Certificate is highly advantageous.
