We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm to assist them in their search for a new Corporate Legal Secretary. This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for performing administrative and secretarial tasks for assigned attorneys.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, editing, transcribing, and proofreading documents.
  • Maintaining deadline reminder and calendar systems.
  • Organising and prioritising calls, incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and projects.
  • Scheduling activities, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintaining e-filing and records management systems.
  • Opening and maintaining all client and general files and conducting review for storage of older files.
  • Updating client contacts.
  • Ensuring weekly timesheets are efficiently dealt with.
  • Supporting absences within the secretarial team and liaising with administrative support staff.
  • Attending training and team meetings.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the London office of a global law firm with a great culture. Suitable applicants will have gained prior legal secretarial experience from within a law firm, and have strong transcription, time management, proofreading, and interpersonal skills.
