We have an exciting opportunity for a IP Secretary to join the thriving Patent team at the Basingstoke office of this reputable IP law firm. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a friendly, collaborative, and hard-working group, providing essential support to the busy attorneys.
Location: Hybrid (Basingstoke Office & Home-Based)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality administrative and secretarial support, including:
- Preparing and issuing invoices
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Communicating with clients, agents, and internal teams
- Maintaining and updating internal records and databases
- Providing tailored support to meet specific client needs, including working with client document management systems and portals
- Managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Key Requirements
- At least 12 months’ legal secretarial experience ideally within an Intellectual Property (IP) environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience with invoicing highly desirable
