Assistant Tax Manager salary up to £65K medium sized law firm based in Chancery Lane

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assistant Tax Manager. Reporting into the Tax Partner of this well known corporate tax team you will be assisting managers with the following tasks: Undertaking research on specific areas of UK tax legislation, HMRC practice, and relevant case law. Data analysis, including use of excel spreadsheets to analyse data and produce computations. Prime document review – undertake detailed reviews of client prime documents, highlight concerns and areas of clarification, prepare synopsis of issues and steps to remedy. Assist with tax advisory reports/letters/memos/emails to be delivered to senior members of the group. Client and third-party services provider management – attendance at meetings, taking instructions in writing or verbally, resolving and answering client or third-party service provider questions. Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials and liaison with the marketing team on production of copy and documents for external use. General assistance to advisory and compliance workstreams. You will have experience in a similar role and be able to provide high levels of client service at all times.
